Merry Christmas, everyone.
Nothing has changed on the building front. The ‘bomb cyclone’ that blew across the United States last week prevented much of anything from happening—well, that and the holidays. Our household spent the coldest days bundled up inside, grateful the power didn’t go out like it did in some regions. The hardest part of those two days was keeping the dogs settled, especially the husky. She missed dragging me around the neighborhood.
I don’t expect much to happen next week because it’s the lull between the big holidays. While forced patience is a booger, I know that screaming into the ether won’t do much good, either. So, we wait and wait some more.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to Best Riding Buddy. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there, even when it’s hard. Hers is the true spirit of giving.
