A Heart Full of Gratitude

Another year has come and gone. Once again, in the United States, Thanksgiving Day is upon us. It’s a day to express gratitude for what life has served—and to overeat.

While it’s been a long year, and we are still waiting to finish rebuilding our home, life is moving forward. The last two years have been brutal on the world. The pandemic exposed many weaknesses in the supply chain, throwing businesses into disarray. Even though things are getting back to normal, we aren’t there yet.

First Reader and I are most grateful to Best Riding Friend. Without her gracious hospitality, I don’t know where we would be. We are thankful for the work Mr. Contractor has done and continues to do. We are grateful to our family and friends who are always there for us; we don’t know what we would do without you.

Finally, I am thankful for all of you who continue to visit this page. I appreciate all of you who follow my ramblings. I hope you like the stories and characters that inhabit my imagination.

  1. Gratitude that runs in many directions, M’Lady! Your imagination fires others, and creativity runs rampant in your wake! From computer games, to the stories they’ve inspired, to the friendships enjoyed for many years now, you and yours are a joy! As Grandma used to say, “You pluck at our heart strings!”
