We are giddy with glee this week. After months of wrestling to pull all the pieces together, it happened. We have an approved increase to our loan, a date that our house goes into production (mid-April), and a plan to cover the shortfall. I’d say life is good, but then something will come along to screw it all up. So, I won’t.
On the weather front (pun intended), the next ten days look warm and dry, with a couple of days we could get precipitation. And in the construction pit, I have a feeling we’ll be scrambling like squirrels on speed soon. Ain’t that the way of the world? In the banker’s box, our loan is moving along. I sent a copy of the updated Deed of Trust to our case manager yesterday. With luck, she has everything ready to go, and she was just waiting for that deed to send us the loan packet. We’ll know more when we call her tomorrow.
I want to get up to the mountain before all the insanity starts so I can take my “before” pictures. Yes, I know we have some from last year, but I want to keep a progression album as our project moves forward. The foothills are snow-covered wonders, which means that our driveway is probably still buried. This week, I’ll trek up the hill to check.

Today, we lift our cups to progress.
Whooppee!!!!!!!
