
We finally heard about the status of our loan: Hurry up and wait. But now we have until February 2022, so we can breathe until we hear from the next loan officer. Then, it will be a scramble to get the additional ducks lined up. Like I told our case manager, for the A.P.R. on this loan, we’ll wait.
In other news, I toddled into my doctor’s office and got my COVID booster this week. Because I had the J&J “one and done” vaccine earlier this year, I got whichever shot my doctor offered, and they provided the Moderna mRNA shot. I was down for a day with body aches and mild chills, and the next couple of days, I had a little brain fog, but that was it. Another week and a half, and I should be even more protected from this evil little bug.
I have continued working toward my DIY MFA, one video at a time. I try to spend a couple days a week listening to the videos and taking notes, but sometimes it doesn’t work out that way. Technically, I’m a week behind, but because this is a self-paced, do-it-yourself course, I can take all the time I need to slog through the material. I consider a week behind to be an accomplishment at this point.
This coming Thursday is the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. It’s a time that many Americans show gratitude for those around them. First Reader and I would like to thank all of you, my readers worldwide, for joining our journey to recovery.
