Oopsie!

Last night, as I put the finishing touches on my story for today, the Microsoft software on my desktop took a nosedive. I’ve spent several hours trying to recover from the errors, all to no avail. So, to the shop it goes.

I ran all the local tests I could, considering that I lost all of my repair software to the wildfire four years ago. According to those tests, nothing is wrong on the hardware side (whew), which points to software. So I’ll need to call on my local service contract to get the operating system reloaded.

Until I’m back up and running on something other than my (very) old laptop, I’ll continue to post quotes.
