Now that Mr. Sub-Contractor has the measurements he needs, he’s spent the week getting bids for the project. We communicated late in the week, and he’s crunching numbers, so we should have more information by tomorrow or Tuesday.

Having the house on the foundation and not seeing progress is almost more difficult than it not being there. This month it’s not the weather getting in the way. Now we’re waiting for contractors to fit us into their schedules. With, of course, the added complication of living off the beaten path. And all we can do is remain patient while the rest of the pieces fall into place.
